Positive Affirmation -Speak Psalm 91 Over Your Life -By Gertrude Flynn-White 05/05/2020
Hello Guys,
I hope you are trying your best to stay safe during this period of uncertainty. God knows your situation; He knows your location and He knows your needs. As the “Stay-at-home” order is being lifted in some countries and you are gradually returning to work, I would like you to personalize Psalm 91 as your prayer of protection and your positive affirmation for this week.
PSALM 91
I dwell in the secret place of the Most High and I abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the LORD, He lone is my refuge and my place of safety. He is my God and I trust Him.
For He will rescue me from mine adversaries and protect me from deadly pestilence and diseases.
He will cover me with His feathers, and He will shelter me with His wings.
His faithful promises are my shield and protection.
I will not be afraid of the terror of the night,
nor the arrow that flies by day.
Nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
Nor the disaster that strikes or destroys at midday.
A thousand may fall at my side, ten thousand are dying around me, but these evils will not touch me.
I will keep my eyes open to see the punishment of the wicked
If I make the LORD my refuge, If I make the Most High my shelter, no harm will befall me, and no disaster will come near my home,
For He will command His angels to protect me wherever I go and guide me in making the right decisions;
They will hold me up with their hands so that I will not hurt my foot on a stone.
I will trample upon lions and cobras; I will crush the fierce lions and serpents under my feet.
The LORD says, “I will rescue whoever loves me. I will protect whoever trust in my name. When he calls upon me, I will answer,
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honour him.
I will reward him with long life and show him my salvation.”
Sojourners, just spend a moment to help me thank God for journeying mercies and for His unconditional love. You might be feeling low in spirit this morning, but I know you can ask God to renew the right spirit within you.
Let us pray.
Heavenly Father, I thank you for your abundant love, your grace, and your mercy. Thank you for peace of mind, the peace that passes all understanding. Thank you for your faithfulness, even when we fail to be faithful to you. I pray that you will remove anxiety and replace it with the courage we need to pull through these overwhelming circumstances. As we journey through this week, may you guide our path and let your peace reign among us.
For those who are still recovering from this demonic virus, I pray that you will comfort them in their suffering and grant them divine healing. I pray that you will strengthen and protect the doctors, nurses, and the others who work in their various capacities on the frontline. I pray that you will comfort those who mourn for the loss of their loved-ones and mend the broken hearts. Remove every stressful situation from our lives and give us wisdom to deal with the challenges ahead in Jesus name I pray amen.
